A length of hand poured cast glass sits upon a pair of lacquered mahogany brackets. The glass is made by trained glass artisans who layer thick streams of molten glass into substantial iron molds to form its overall shape. The black glass, once fired, exhibits the appearance of pooled ink. The obsidian toned lacquer brackets cradle the great heft of the glass and hold its place. While the materials and tones are solid, the manner in which the shelf seemingly suspends in the air, imbues a sense of lightness.

Each piece is handmade and unique. Slight variation in the material is standard, therefore we do not accept returns.
